When we start
To realize
Our energy attracts
What we are
And we find
We have peace
Joy to share
For some reason

Love blossoms.

When we are willing
To wait
For understanding
Become fascinated
With our humanity
And graciously
Stay the course
For the same reasons

Love grows.

When we choose
To take
Individual paths together
Not bound
By another’s happiness
Yet happily
Traveling together
For a shared purpose

Love remains.
