How could she know that her journey of grief and acceptance would lead her to this place?
Surely she never imagined during her battle with solitude that he was already on the other side.
Waiting, surrendered; standing firmly in place.
Love found her gazing at the stars wearing nothing but a coat and a smile on her face.
It was New Year’s Eve after all and she didn’t want to miss the fireworks;
So she kissed him, just in case.
